PYBA provides Princeton youth in grades 4 through 9 the opportunity to play competetive basketball, with structured practices and competitive tournament play.

Competetive traveling basketball requires a big commitment.  Players should be prepared to work hard, attend all practices, and participate in weekend tournament play.  Parents should be prepared to support their players by getting them to practices on time, and getting them to the tournaments.  Parents should expect one to two practices weekly and 8 or more tournaments on weekends during the Winter Travel Program. Parents should also expect to incur costs in addition to registration and uniform fees such as gas, food, gate fees, and possibly lodging if a team chooses a tournament requiring an overnight stay.

Participants must live in or attend the Princeton School District # 477. Participants living or attending outside district # 477 may be accepted if they did not make a team within their own program and they provide a waiver from their own program.
